Growing Great Places workshops, 28th January and 4th February 2020
Growing Great Places is our new community crowdfunding programme to support citizens and organisations who have great ideas for making our local places even better. As part of this programme we’re running two free community workshops, with our partners at Spacehive.
We’re also providing extra support to citizens and organisations, to help you get great ideas off the ground in our local places. Along with our workshops and tailored project support, there is a fund of £50,000 available. Successful projects can potentially receive a pledge of up to £5,000 from Kirklees Council to support their campaign.
Come to one of our free workshops to:
- Learn about the programme and how you can get involved
- Hear about the funding available and the process to apply
- Learn about what makes a great crowdfunding project
- Get tips and advice on running a successful crowdfunding campaign
Growing Great Places is all about making sure that more people can have a stake in their local place. It’s part of our work to grow a stronger local democracy in Kirklees, from the ground up.
