We’re delighted to welcome some of our youth councillors back to the Council Chamber to launch a toolkit that will help councillors to talk to school children about local democracy.
We want to create the conditions in which local democracy will thrive. This means starting with our citizens and with our sense of local identity – with the ground beneath our feet.
We have a selection of practical workshops at our report launch event on 30th June 2017, each hosted by someone who has given evidence to the Kirklees Democracy Commission.
